Hotel Policy
The basic rules of our property are as follows:- Minimum Age: Primary guests must be 18 years of age or older to check-in at Happy Himalayan.
- Identity Proof: Guests must present valid photo identification (Passport, Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Voter ID Card) during check-in as per government regulations. PAN Card or other local IDs will not be accepted.
- No Drugs: We strictly prohibit drugs, contraband, or banned substances on our premises.
- Consideration for Others: Since our hostels are shared spaces, we expect guests to be considerate of fellow patrons. Disruptive behavior may result in expulsion, with all applicable charges due immediately.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, excluding normal wear and tear. Hygiene and cleanliness must be maintained in dorm rooms and private accommodations.
- Respect for Staff: Guests must treat hostel staff with dignity and respect; any misbehavior will not be tolerated.
- Theft: Theft is not tolerated; our hostels are equipped with CCTV cameras and staff trained to identify theft.
- No Aggressive Behavior: Threats or violent behavior toward staff or guests will result in immediate removal from the property.
- No Abuse: Any form of sex tourism or child abuse will be reported to authorities, and perpetrators will be expelled.
- No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited indoors; designated smoking areas are provided.
- Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for their own belongings.
- No Pets: Animals are not allowed on the property premises.
Refund Policy: No refund shall be made in any case whatsoever post check-in at the hostel premises or in cases of early departures.For refunds where original payment was made through Credit card, Debit card, or payment gateway, refunds will be processed after deduction of 3% charges on the total amount paid. These rules and refund policies ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all our guests at Happy Himalayan. Certainly! Cancellation Policy: For refundable bookings, guests can enjoy a 100% free cancellation up to 7 days before their check-in date. Refunds to their payment source will be processed within 5 to 7 working days. Payment gateway charges incurred during the booking are non-refundable.

However, for non-refundable bookings, no refunds will be issued if guests cancel at any time.
Booking Conditions
1. Guests can request Bookings via our website www.happyhimalayanstays.com or by contacting Happy Himalayan authorised reservation staff or by emailing us info@happyhimalayanstays.com or any other mode authorized by us (which includes third party booking portal like hostel world, booking.com etc.)2. No request for a Booking shall be accepted unless and until Happy Himalayan Stays confirms its acceptance via email and provides
a booking reference, at which point the Contract will come into existence.3. Happy Himalayan will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate any request from the Guests to change the Booking Details but any request to change the dates or length of stay or add products and/or services will be subject to availability. In case of such extension to the length of stay and/or addition of products and/or services, the guests will be charged according to the standard rates, prevailing at that point in time.4. In case of more than two guests booking beds in a dorm, Happy Himalayan will attempt to accommodate Guests with the same
booking reference in the same dorm. However
this cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability.5. Certain policies are booking specific and are informed to the Guests at the time of booking.6. Right to admission is reserved.
